Description

The Archangel Michael is the only one mentioned in the Bible as an archangel. Also called “one of the first lords” and “lords”. His name means “Who (Is) Like God?” It is believed that the archangel Michael was the angel who appears in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament), and in fact from the first moments of creation of the world.

He was the one who announced to Abraham the need to sacrifice his son, Isaac, and who later prevented it and the one who appeared to Lot, and saved him and his family from the destruction of Sodom. Also Michael was the one who led the people of Israel to flee from Egypt appearing in the form of a cloud by day and fire by night (Ex. 13:26) leading them to the Promised Land.
He saved, from the fall, the angelic forces with “let us stand well, let us stand after fear” and for his parsimony the Triune God gave him the position of “Lord of the angelic Orders”. After the fall of Eusphorus he gathered the armies of angels and said to them “Let us be careful. That is, let us be careful and understand what these fallen demons suffered for their pride, who a little while ago were with us, the Angels. “What is the Angel? God is the Despot and Creator of us Angels. And we, the Angels, are slaves and buildings of God.” Savaoth (Lord of Powers), full of heaven and earth of his glory. ”In addition, it is believed that by God’s command the Protoplasts were expelled from Paradise by the Archangel Michael.
